लाॅस वेगास में आयोजित ‘वार्षिक उपभोक्ता इलेक्ट्रानिक शो’ में सैमसंग स्टार लैब द्वारा आभासी मानव-नीयन (NEON ) प्रदर्शित किया गया। माना जा रहा है कि यह विश्व का पहला कृत्रिम मानव है जो देखने और व्यवहार करने में वास्तविक मानव के समान है।
प्रमुख बिंदु:
1. कंपनी के अनुसार नीयन (NEON )कंप्यूटर द्वारा निर्मित आभासी मानव है। नीयन शब्द NEO+Human से बना है अर्थात् नया मानव। यह शोधकर्ताओं द्वारा नियंत्रित भावनात्मक प्रदर्शन कर सकता है।
2. लेकिन कुछ वर्षों उपरांत नीयन मानव इतना बुद्धिमान होगा कि वह पूरी तरह से स्वायत्त भावनाओं को प्रदर्शित करने में समर्थ, सीखने की क्षमता से युक्त, यादाश्त युक्त तथा बुद्धिमत्ता से पूर्ण होगा।
3. स्टार लैब का मानना है कि कुछ वर्षों बाद नीयन मानव, मनुष्य का मित्र, सहयोगी और साथी होगा।
तकनीकी
कंपनी प्रमुख भारतवंशी प्रणव मिस्त्री के अनुसार नीयन दो प्रमुख तकनीकों – CORE R3 तथा SPECTRA पर आधारित है।CORE R3 तकनीक नीयन में वास्तविकता, वास्तविक समय तथा जवाबदेही के लिए जिम्मेदार है। वहीं SPECTRA तकनीक, जोकि CORE R3 की सहायक तकनीक के रूप में कार्य करती है, यह स्मृति, सीखने की क्षमता, भावनाएँ तथा बुद्धिमत्ता स्पेक्ट्रम के लिए जिम्मेदार है।
उपयोग:
1. प्रणव मिस्त्री के अनुसार नीयन तकनीकों एवं सेवाओं के मध्य इंटरफेस के रूप में कार्य करेगा।
2. यह बैंक में सवालों का जवाब दे सकता है। टेलीविजन पर समाचार पढ़ सकता है।
3. नीयन समझने एवं सहानुभूति देने में सक्षम होने के कारण आभासी मानव के रूप में अति सक्षम होंगे।
नीयन, आभासी सहायक से अलग कैसे?
नीयन अपने प्रयोगकर्ता द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए डाटा तक ही सीमित रहते हैं। ये आभासी सहायक की तरह इंटरनेट का उपयोग नहीं कर सकते तथा न ही गाना या रेलवे इंक्वायरी जैसी फरमाइश पूरी कर सकते हैं।
